Danny Brewster, the CEO of bitcoin services company Neo & Bee, faced fraud allegations in Cyprus when two customers filed official complaints claiming they had never received the bitcoins they had paid for. The customers reportedly paid €15,000 and €20,000 for the bitcoins, which were not delivered. The police began investigating the matter. This incident occurred amid concerns about the financial stability of Neo & Bee, leading to a suspension of trading in LMB Holdings shares, the parent company of Neo & Bee, on Havelock Investments. Online allegations and threats targeted at Brewster further complicated the situation, and he announced his intention to sell his entire equity in the company and withdraw from Neo & Bee. However, questions arose about the credibility of his claims, and the staff at Neo & Bee’s head office in Nicosia reportedly had not received their March wages and were unaware of Brewster’s whereabouts. The situation left the company in a state of disarray, with Brewster as the sole communicator for the company.
